What a WONDERFUL response for our first ever online auditions! I have been impressed and have enjoyed the performances presented by current as well as incoming RPSMS students auditioning for a spot in one of our vocal jazz ensembles!

Call Backs are scheduled for Thursday, August 27th from 3-4pm at SMS.
To those who auditioned and did not make call backs. First of all I CELEBRATE your boldness. Well done! It takes a LOT to prepare an audition and then step out and follow through to do it! The more you experience it and learn from the experience, the stronger you'll be. I know it's difficult to be in a situation where you're NOT selected after auditioning . . . but please know that the reason was simply due to individuals with stronger auditions at this point in time. I ENCOURAGE you to keep practicing and prepare as there are additional opportunities ahead! It may even be that the piece you performed for this audition would be even stronger and selected if you audition for the Southside Showcase next fall. (our talent show)
I am EXCITED to work with you all this coming year so . . . keep singing and get ready . . . it's going to be great!
